Brisbane Top Alcohol racer Steven Ham goes into the inaugural Adelaide Pro Series 1000 event on the 13th 14th and 15th of April with ever growing confidence after a solid test session in Sydney.

Testing in the Comp Eliminator category in Sydney, The Mobil1/East Coast Lubes team turned out a 5.57 second run, followed by a 5.66, giving the team some valuable tuning data with the new chassis components on the car. Despite losing in round one by virtue of a red light, Steve and the team were thrilled with the cars performance.

“To make such big changes to the cars setup, and have the car perform how it did gives us some good confidence going into Adelaide.” Commented driver Steven Ham. “The changes we made to the setup throughout the weekend taught us a lot about what each change made. We are very happy with the data we gained and hope we can use it well this weekend coming in Adelaide.”

The TSP racing team will be looking forward to the new challenge of racing on full bitumen, 1000ft track over the course of the 3 day Adelaide Pro Series 1000. “The main focus for us throughout the weekend will be to keep the car constant and free of tire shake, if we can do that fingers crossed competitive times will come.”

The Pro Series 1000 (April 13, 14 and 15) at Adelaide International Raceway will feature ANDRA Pro Series rounds of Top Fuel, Top Alcohol, Top Bike and Pro Stock Motorcycle plus over 200 sportsman racers.

Racing starts from 10am Friday and Saturday and 9am Sunday and tickets are available at the gate for just $35.
