As the Lamattina Top Fuel Racing team prepares to get back to championship contention, the team has recalled long-time crew chief, Aaron Hambridge.
Hambridge will return to LTFR as tuner following the departure of Luke Marsden, who advised the team he was has parting ways yesterday.
Lamattina smiled, “We thank Luke for his help, he was a part of our push into a new two car structure.”
“It is reassuring to have Aaron back in the pit and ready to get us back to where we belong. We have some new parts and some new energy and it’s great to have the new gear combined with some real experience to get the most out of it. Bring on the Nitro Champs!”
Hambridge had been with the LTFR team for ten years prior to a decision to take a break from racing last last year.
The next round of the Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship is the Nitro Champs, Sydney Dragway, May 5 and 6.
