Not only is Bray out for some bonus points in the ANDRA Pro Series Top Doorslammer eliminator – but having picked up the lead in the Karcher Tri State Challenge is looking to ensure he does well to maintain the lead in the $20,000 challenge.
The Karcher Tri State Challenge is a race within a race with the final three events of the Top Doorslammer season. this weekends Westernationals in Perth, the Nitro Champs in Sydney and the season final the Winternationals in Brisbane.
The leader in the Karcher Tri State Challenge at the conclusion of those three events will pick up $20,000.
11 of the 15 Top Doorslammer teams that nominated for the Westernationals have confirmed that they will contest the three rounds of the Karcher Tri State Challenge.
These 11 Drivers each selected an envelope containing their starting position and points in the challenge.
Ben was all smiles as he opened his envelope to find that he had grabbed the lead with 55 points allocated to him.

Sydneys Deno Brijeski is in 2nd place with 50 points
Championship leader Robin Judd was happy to get 45 points to sit him nicely in 3rd.
Gary Phillips was happy enough to be back on the track with his rebuilt Lucas Oils Studebaker let alone get a handy 40 points for 4th position.
Victor Bray is in 5th with 35 points.
WA’s Murray O’Connor suprised all announcing that he will be contesting all three remaining ANDRA Pro Series rounds. O’Connor is in 6th with 30 points in the Karcher Tri State Challenge.
Defending champion John Zappia is in 7th with 25 points
Matt Abel sits in 8th with 20 points. Obviously being sponsored by Karcher counted for nothing?
Maurice Fabietti is in 9th receiving 15 points.
Stuart Bishop is in 10th with 10 points.
And the Northern Territories Scott Maclean rounds out the 11 teams who will be competing in the Karcher Tri State Challenge.
