Lamattina Top Fuel Racing is back on track after wining two out of three races against Darren Morgan Racing at Perth Motorplex on Saturday 20th November.
“It is always a pleasure to race at the Perth Motorplex,” said Phil Lamattina.
“We love coming over and seeing our fantastic fans and also getting a few great passes down the track. I am sure everyone enjoyed the show that LTFR and DMR put on. We are looking forward to getting back over to Perth in late January.”
After beating the high temperatures on Friday the track conditions were perfect on Saturday night except for the chance of rain that conveniently held off until after the last pass.
Race 1: Morgan 5.003 (L), Lamattina 4.731 (W).
Race 2: Morgan 4.916 (L), Lamattina 4.764 (W).
Race 3: Morgan 4.773 (W), Lamattina 4.751 (L).
The Fuchs Nitro Lounge had its first debut at the Perth Motorplex. ANDRA’s Project Director and Director of the Motorplex Gary Miocevich and General Manager Kevin Prendergast joined the team on Friday night for dinner in the lounge and were impressed with its facilities. We also welcomed current Top Fuel Champion Martin Stamatis and his wife Yvonne on Saturday night whilst entertaining our sponsors and their guests as they enjoyed the atmosphere whilst being on the front line of the excitement and jubilation of our team after a successful evening.
The team is now preparing for round three of the ANDRA Pro Series at Willowbank Raceway January 3&4.
