Rapisarda Racing is set to return to the NHRA Full Throttle Championship at the Dollar General Summernationals at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kansas this weekend. Tuning duties on the car again will in the hands of Santo Rapisarda Junior with noted NHRA tuner Lee Beard on hand to provide further support.
“The team is looking for a good result this weekend,” team owner Santo Rapisarda told Drag News Australia. “We arrived here on Tuesday and have been setting up the trailer and getting organised for the meeting.
“With 20 cars chasing 16 spots we need to get into the field on the first day of qualifying. The weather forecast is for warm conditions for the first two days then on Sunday there is a strong chance of storms.”
