When the Summit Sportsman Series rolls into the East Coast Nationals it will feature Super Sedan heavy hitters from around the country, but there will be one determined local they will have go past first to win that coveted Gold Christmas Tree.
Michael Little is the defending Sydney Dragway Atura Championship Series Super Sedan champion and is currently sitting second in this year’s series with his 434ci LJ Torana – a series which is arguably the toughest in country.
After narrowly missing the big prize last year with a runner-up result at the Australian Nationals, the country NSW based Little will be looking to carry his consistent season form in the event to go that one step better at the East Coast Nationals.
“The main focus will be on reaction times and consistency – it’s all about being relaxed and getting seat time in the car,” said Little.
Little is under no illusions on how tough the competition will be, but more importantly wants the spectators to enjoy the great action Super Sedan racing delivers.
“I know with the quality field on the entry list that there will be great close racing throughout the weekend and I would like to encourage everyone to come along to enjoy our great sport,” he said.
If all goes well for Little, he and with his crew including wife Tracey, and daughters Jessica and Chloe, intend to compete in other Summit Series Sportsman events this season.
