Top Alcohol will soon receive a dose of insanity from the “Mad Professor” Rob Taylor as he plans to start testing his new Top Alcohol Funny Car in the coming month.
The Top Doorslammer pilot has been turning out some impressive numbers recently with his Camaro doorslammer after a relatively short time in the class.
Taylor’s crew chief Anthony Rodrigues and engine builder Ali Sead will expand their repertoire tuning the recently purchased machine – an ex Ron August Jr NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car – during a busy schedule in the next few months, with the 400 Thunder season-ending Winternationals, and the Top End swing to start the new ANDRA Championship season.
The funny car will impose a sinister presence in the class when it is wrapped the same as the team’s Top Doorslammer.
When asked why the move into to Top Alcohol?
“I can’t let Phillips and Cannuli have all the fun,” quipped Taylor.
