On behalf of the members of the Pro Stock Owners Association (PSOA) we would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our members, fans and sponsors a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
Whilst for many this time of year will be a time of relaxation, the agenda for Australian Pro Stock races will be much different with the second round of the 2010/2011 ANDRA Pro Series being run at Willowbank Raceway on January 14th and 15th.
“Once again I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our supporters a very Merry Christmas and a safe 2011. We look forward to once again bringing you the best Pro Stock Drag Racing that Australia has to offer in 2011,” remarked Paul Porter, PSOA President.
For the first time since the 2010 Castrol EDGE Winternationals, Pro Stock will be returning to Queensland’s Willowbank Raceway. The last time that the bracket was featured at the venue, record times were produced. Although, these same performances may not be seen in January due to the weather conditions that can be expected at this time of year, all stakeholders can rest assured that they will get to see a good show.
“Due to the weather conditions at this time of the year we may not get to see the record elapsed times and the blistering speeds during the event, however there will be the close cut throat qualifying and neck and neck racing that Pro Stock is renowned for and that alone is reason enough as to why this will be a great event for the fans,” said Porter.
