Paul Mouhayet has not taken long to deliver record performances from the ‘big brother’ Moits Racing Ford Mustang recently brought to Australia after a stretch in the USA.

Mouhayet ran a 5.584/261.67mph to take the title of Australia’s quickest sedan pass as well as elevating his own speed record from 261.22mph, which he ran in the ‘little brother’ orange Ford Mustang last year.

The incredible figures came from the first full pass for the Mustang, on the first day of a five day long testing marathon that has attracted some of the toughest cars in the country.

“I really wasn’t expecting that this early. We made three hits and this is the result,” Mouhayet said.

“I can’t thank all my crew enough, Steve Petty and the Proline Racing guys, CV Performance and my own crew – you guys killed it.

“This black car is off tap. And don’t forget the old 10.5 car went the fastest the 60 (feet) twice today.

“Thanks for all your support and well wishes. We will endeavour to keep you all on the edge of your seats for the rest of the week.”
