Mark Sheehan recently got his final fitting for a new Top Fuel car he is having built at Morgan Lucas Racing in Brownsburg, Indiana and Drag News was there to get a sneak peak at this mean-looking ride.
The dragster will be the first Top Fuel car with a canopy in Australia and also the first canopy car built at MLR.
Sheehan said he has been nothing but impressed with the work and detail put in by the MLR team – who over the weekend won the US Nationals with Australian Richie Crampton at the wheel.
With Sheehan’s previous dragster having reached the limits of how much power could be put in, it was time to make the move to some new pipe. Sheehan said that the positive direction being shown by Top Fuel Australia has also convinced him that is worth making the investment in the state-of-the-art technology.
