Round Two of the NSW Championship Series is back over two big days on Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st of August and will feature Nitro Funny Car action.
This event will see the return of those awesome gound pounding Nitro Funny Cars to Sydney Dragway. The Chemical Warfare Team from Queensland will be coming down to do battle with Sydney’s own Chris Stipanovich in a head to head battle on the drag strip.
Plus there will be around 200 racers in all categories vying for valuable points in the 2011-2012 NSW Championship Series and judging by the level of competition in the first round of the championship we are going to be in for another awesome season of Drag Racing action.
With 200 racers entering for the first round we are expecting even bigger fields for this round as more and more racers are getting their cars and bikes out to Sydney Dragway and with many new names are coming into the sport will produce even more top quality Drag Racing action. Brackets will include the all new Pro Comp Electronics Top Comp Eliminator featuring cars from the Top Doorslammer, Top Alcohol Brackets and Supercharged Competition Eliminator classes, the popular Super Comp Bracket that includes all your favourite Turboed Super Compact cars and of course the outrageous High Performance World Supercharged Outlaws!
Add to that line up full fields of Top Sportsman, Timic Hot Rod Supplies Modified, Pro Comp Electronics Super Sedan, Rapid Bikes Modified Bike, Redline Performance Super Street, J&C Mowers/Skips Junior Dragster, Will Clean Super Gas, Screamin’ Eagles and Drive to Survive Street Fighter!
