The much anticipated debut in Australia of nitro fuelled nostalgia drag racing vehicles will occur at Sydney Dragway on Sunday 21st November.
To be run by Nostalgia Drag Racing Australia and Sydney Dragway, the event promises to bring back the sound, smell and feel of the old days, but with modern updates.
Three nitro burning front engine dragsters are set to battle the lone Funny Car in a Chicago shootout. Just like the Wild West, but set in Sydney’s West.
The NSW versus Queensland Wild Bunch State of Origin will resume, with the Maroons one up after the August event, and the cockroaches are vowing to square up the ledger.
Throw in several hundred other nostalgia styled race vehicles and even more Hot Rods and Street Machines on display and you have a great family day out.
Qualifying from 9am, racing from 1pm.
Sydney Dragway, Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek.
