The Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car series will air live on Fox Sports and 7+ from 7pm to 10.30pm this Friday, June 18. The awesome coverage comes as the funny car series and ever popular Nitro Up North event joins forces with the Supercars and Australian Superbikes championships for the Merlin Darwin Triple Crown at Hidden Valley Raceway.
We have not seen and event like this since the days of the Triple Challenge at Eastern Creek in the early 90s showcasing some of Australia’s best motorsport together.
There will be nine Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars ready to light up those header pipes in front of what will be a capacity crowd for sure. The funny cars will be backed by a Top Doorslammer exhibition ahead of their first round of the new ANDRA Drag Racing Championship which kicks off in July at the same venue.
Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars & Hot Rods driver and Darwin local Nathan Coles spent the day with Supercars David Reynolds and ASBK – Australian Superbikes Mike Jones exploring the sights in the NT before the Darwin Supercars on the 18-20th of June.
