The Christmas ‘silly season’ is fast approaching! To ‘kick start’ it with some retro-oriented muscle, there’s three good reasons to spend this November at Sydney Dragway, with action-a-plenty coming at you left, right and centre.
The MOPAR RUMBLE is back by popular demand! Bought to you by the Regals Mopar Car Club and Sydney Dragway “the rumble” kicks off on Saturday, November 12 with a “meet and greet” at the Museum of Fire at Penrith before heading off to Sydney’s premier night cruise destination – Harry’s Café De Wheels at Liverpool. On the November 13 the event will continue with burnouts, drag racing, super cruise, show ‘n’ shine, dyno comp and trade stands at Sydney’s world-class drag racing facility – Sydney Dragway at Eastern Creek.
The smell of Nitro will infiltrate the air in November as the Nostalgia continues. Warming up festivities will be the folk at ROCKET INDUSTRIES opening their doors for the 6th annual Rocket Open day on Saturday November 19th.
The Nostalgia and family atmosphere continue with the inaugural Sydney Dragway Hot Rod Reunion & Nitrofest on November 20 at Sydney Dragway. The event will feature all your favourites – Nitro Funny Cars, Front Engine Dragsters, Australian and American Super Stock cars, Hot Rods, Gas, Junior Fuellers and HAMBsters.
To complete the trifecta of action packed November weekends, we get a head start on Friday the 25th with the Rodders Life Sydney Nationals, developed to offer you, the car enthusiast, an event where you can take your Hot Rod, Street Machine, Muscle Car, Custom/Classic, Drag Car or Elite Show car, and cut loose in a controlled environment, or simply show off your pride and joy whilst cruising around the massive cruise track all day with your mates. We’ve provided an event focused on catering for all the family, with something of interest for all including live bands featuring 80’s Aussie rockers, The Choirboys!
Don’t forget that amongst all this we have the fourth round of the NSW Championship Drag Racing season on November 4 and 5, Full Throttle Friday on November 18 and of course Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real every Wednesday.
