Another massive event on the calendar has been announced and is set to draw a huge field of rodders from across Victoria and interstate. The Marsh Rodders always run a fantastic event, a highlight on Heathcote Park’s annual schedule.
Day of the Drags will be held at Heathcote Park on Saturday Jan 28, 2012.
But don’t be late entering the event as competitor entry numbers are capped, and we have had numerous enquiries from racers since news broke about this being held in Victoria. You will need to complete the entry form and return it by post along with your entry fee as soon as possible, entries close on Friday Jan 20, 2012.
We would also like you to encourage anyone with a cool nostalgia car (pre 78), to bring it along to the event on Saturday and participate in a great day. Nostalgia display cars can park in the designated Pit Lane Car Show area and be a part of the informal show and shine competition.
Camping will be permitted on Friday night and Saturday night for credentialed competitors and team members only. Strict guidelines will be introduced for campers and must be adhered to. A lights-out time and a curfew on all vehicle and personnel movement will be enforced.
We have sketched out an Itinerary for the Days Racing:
Gates Open 8.00am
Scrutineering 9.00am
Practice Session 11.00am – 2.00pm (including lunch break)
Qualifying Session 2.00pm (3 rounds of qualifying for all classes)

Racing Commences As soon as all qualifying has completed

Brackets are as follows: 13.00 seconds +; 11.00 – 12.99 seconds; 9.00 – 10.99 seconds; 9.00 seconds & under.
