NxtGen Engineering has thrown their support behind Pro Stock for Round 3 of the 400 Thunder Pro Stock Championship, to be held at Willowbank Raceway’s Santo’s Super Thunder event, April 19, 2019.
This Pro Stock round will be known as the “NxtGen Engineering Pro Stock Spectacular”.
“We’re fired up. Pro Stock has really started to get its mojo back this season. There’s teams returning to the category and incredibly tight racing,” said NxtGen Engineering’s Kerry Tremayne.
From a business perspective, Tremayne said NxtGen Engineering being involved in Pro Stock was an obvious choice.
“We’re entrenched in the drag racing market and have a growing list of customers out here,” Tremayne said.
“It’s important for us to put our name out there and stay engaged. This is the business we’re in.”
With the points battle tightening up at the top of the Pro Stock ladder, Tremayne believes this event will see the quickest numbers so far.
“One hundred percent. Coming into Easter, the weather cools down, the track gets tighter and the numbers start to tumble into the low 6.90s – we might even see a car or two dip into the 80s.”
