Sunraysia Drag Racing Association (SDRA) has revealed Mildura’s Sunset Strip will now be known as the Atlantic Oils Sunset Strip for 2024.
Drag racing fanatics don’t have to wait long for the first NDRC event of 2024, with the South Coast 660 taking over South Coast Raceway this Saturday and Sunday (January 6/7) as more than 140 Aeroflow National Sportsman Championship racers do battle for prestigious Christmas Tree trophies and valuable championship points.
The Perth Motorplex, operated by Evolve Facility Management, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ray Treasure as Drag Racing Manager.

Now the Aeroflow pilot is predicting big things for the next round, to be held at Dragway at The Bend across January 13-14.

Round two of the new National Drag Racing Championship saw the debut of the flame-throwing Nitro Funny Cars plus Pro Alcohol, Pro Stock and Pro Mod at the Sydney Nationals for the inaugural series.
At the weekend’s South Coast Nationals at South Coast Raceway, reigning Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series Super Stock Australian Champion Adrian Vella not only took out the ANDRA Christmas Tree for SuperComp, but also rewrote both ends of the Super Stock E/GA record.

Day one of South Coast Raceway’s South Coast Nationals, featuring the latest round of the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series, has seen more than 160 racers impress across three rounds of qualifying ahead of eliminations racing Sunday (3 December).
