Round three the APSA Pro Street series was unleashed at Benaraby Raceway over the 1/8th mile distance, unfortunately despite our best efforts we have not been able to acquire detailed results. However here are the class winners, with some great videos and photos of the action.
Final results are as follows:
Sam Fenech won the headlining Outlaw 10.5 class driving the Steve Sarkis owned Grand Am over Wade Wagstaff’s sweet ’57 Chev.
In Pro Street Blown Adam Smolders came back from a wall scraping last outing in Sydney to defeat Craig Hewitt’s blown CV8 Monaro.
New South Welshman Chris Stevermuer chalked up yet another win in Pro Street Unblown
The twin turbo small block ute of Michael Arnold was too good in the Mod Street Blown final against Guy Hall’s blown Mercedes.
The big cubes on both side of the track in the Mod Street Unblown class, Mick Brody’s 632 cubic inches out gunned the 582 in Wayne Lear’s Torana.
The fearless two wheelers had Jason Ellem beat Anthony Duncan.
In the “who needs slicks brigade”, Scott Cortina in his 565ci HG Holden won Outlaw Radial over James Moore’s Rotary RX7.
Terry Seng continues to prove he has the baddest legitimate street car in the country winning X275.
Wrapping up the classes, Dean McMahon conquered True Street in his XF Falcon over the Torana of Darryl Elliot.
Some cool video of the action.
