DNA will have exclusive reports and images from within the Rapisarda pits commencing from set-up /registration on Wednesday, three days of qualifying then racing on Sunday.
The Oz fuel team – renamed Rapisarda Autosport International for 2013 – will be in the spotlight following a frenzied off-season that included the signing of three-time champ Larry Dixon along with tuning wiz Lee Beard.

“It’s certainly been a busy off-season, setting up the new team, recruiting crew and also racing in Australia,” team owner Santo Rapisarda told Drag News Australia.
“2013 is our best opportunity to make a mark on the NHRA tour. Larry has an outstanding record – his 62 round wins is the second best in Top fuel and to sign a driver of his calibre is a coup for the team.
“Lee brings a wealth of experience particularly with Don Schumacher Racing in recent years and with 53 “Wally’s” knows what it takes to get into the winners circle. Lee’s role as director of operations is to support Tino and Santo Jr. with tuning duties.”
“We need a strong performance at the Winternationals to get our American campaign off to a flying start. This season we need to turn potential into performance,” said Rapisarda.
