Rapisarda E-Town bound

Rapisarda Racing head to historic Old Bridge Township Raceway Park Englishtown, New Jersey this weekend for the Toyota NHRA SuperNationals, looking to build on a solid performance at their last outing in Topeka, Kansas.

“We made the field in Kansas which was an encouraging sign for the boys,” said team owner Santo Rapisarda.

At the last event former DSR crew chief Lee Beard joined the team which has been struggling for consistency, and it has been a valuable shot in the arm for Rapisarsda Racing.

“Lee Beard has been giving the team some help and that paid dividends.”

Rapisarda Racing will need every ounce of Beard’s extensive knowledge coming into SuperNationals with a tough line up of opponents entered.

“It looks like there will be  21 cars in fuel and I would like to think we can get in the field after the first day of qualifying.”

“We get two runs and I’m confident Cory and the boys can get the job done.” Rapisarda concluded
