Rapisarda Racing’s 2012 assault on the NHRA Full Throttle Series is off to a flying start after the fledgling Oz team nailed 11th spot with a pass of 3.96/310 mph in first round of qualifying at the 52nd Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals at Pomona.
“It was great to get our first run down the track,” said recently installed crew chief Keith Stewart.
“All the testing and work by the team over the past few days really paid off. From here we are looking to improve on our opening run and can’t wait to get out on the track for session two. Today’s effort was a real boost for team morale,” he said.
