The Hidden Valley Track Championship has moved into round five and approaching the season finale. Here are the results and gallery thanks to Craig Radcliffe.
In Top Eliminator, Matt Abel was unapposed in the final with his Pro Slammer and ran 6.352.
Super Modified had a bunch of tough cars, and the final came down to Craig McGregor’s nitrous rodeo and Peter Boscato’s XR Falcon Ute. Unfortunately for Boscato a big cherry was left dangling from the tree handing the win to the tray back Rodeo.
In Modified Bike Colin Sainsbury has the easiest of wins when opponent Heath Costello could not make a start on his Harley.
A red light also decided Super Street with Theo Karamanidis going to early in his VY Commodore throwing the win back to Gavin Pocock’s XY Ute.
Aiden Abel came out on top of the family Junior Dragster tussle, defeating Michelle Abel in the final with a 8.895 on a 8.70.
In the first of the street classes, and for Street Car, Grant Radcliffe cut down the tree with a .006 light in the final and drove his big 300C home to a win with a 13.43 on a 13.24 over Jeffrey Paredes’ Corolla.
Finally in Street Bike, after 5 rounds of Chicago Shootout racing, Allan Henry aboard his Hayabusa rode off against Andrew Reid also on a Hayabusa. Henry with the slight start line holeshot held the advantage to the stripe for a 9.80 on a 9.70 dial in win.
Next round of the championship kicks on September 8.
