Here are the results and gallery from the penultimate round of the Hidden Valley Track Championship in Australia’s Top End.
It looked to be a bit of a quieter round of the track championship as the series winds down before the big wet hits the Australian Top End, with just the NT Titles to go on the season calendar.
A red light to Ashley Smith’s Camaro handed back to back event wins in Super Modified to Craig McGregor’s nitrous sniffing Rodeo.
Adam Rapp took an easy win in Modified Bike with opponent Heath Costello having problems in the final.
Likewise Justin Neck took home the trophy with his Holden ute on a solo after Dean Radcliffe couldn’t make a race of it in his Pontiac that didn’t want to start.
The Rapp family doubled up with a win to Theo in Street Car when Joe White broke out. Yes that is a Maserati.
Street Bike fell to Allan Henry with a 9.852 on a 9.70 to ride around Reece Tjung’s 10.19 on a 9.90 dial in.
It wasn’t an Abel family tussle in Junior Dragster this round instead it was a Harris one. With Brooke collecting the win when Madison picked off a cherry.
The final round of the series is on September 22 at the NT Titles which will feature Outlaw Nitro madness with three Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars putting on a show.
Thanks to Craig Radcliffe for the gallery.
