The first attempt to run this years Nostalgia Drags at Willowbank Raceway was thwarted by a cyclone, second time around though Mother Nature was a little kinder. Here are the final round results and packed photo gallery covering the action.
There was a bountiful display of old school muscle on display.
Chris Van’thof was living in the 6.7 zone with his Corvette and took the Top Eliminator trophy over Graham Slapp’s FED in the final.
Plenty of muscle on track as well.
Quick Eliminator went to Neal McLeod’s little altered over a red light Kerry Boyde.
Graham Slapp has certainly had a variety of race cars in his time, now its a sleek FED.
Michael Cook took three wins from as many races in the round robin format for Gas Eliminator, in the final he was unopposed for the win.

Grant Carpenter skidded his coupe all the way to the Hot Rod final win, beating Charlie Cameron in a double breakout battle.
Cruizin’ the pits
The “HELLH” – its Australian Gold, not Canary Yellow – Torrie of Lana Rice was too good for the Aussie Muscle field.
We might need to buy this guy some polish.
US Muscle was taken out by Benni Dreyer’s magnificant ’67 Camaro – Craig Willams was the runner up on the wrong end of a double break out race.

Vintage Gas represents the true Nostalgia gassers – Ian Campbell hightailed a 14.22 on a 14.10 to out gun Deano Webb to the stripe.

Dale Neumann was having a killer weekend, winning the Eighth Mile Series the previous day and doubling up with a win in Retro Bike at the Nostalgias.
