As Lamattina Top Fuel Racing charge into the 2023 Australian Top Fuel Championship, the team will do it with the ongoing support of R&J Batteries.
Phil Lamattina, Team Principal and Driver explained, “Having the R&J Batteries team as a part of our group is special, not only because they are experts in battery technology but because like us, they started from humble regional roots.”
“This year you might also notice something new, I will be using an R&J Batteries themed helmet for the entire season. Put it this way, you will be able to easily spot me in the pits and on the track!” smiled the two-time champion.
“The whole team will get a splash of the familiar R&J red theme as a part of them team’s livery – but the helmet – the helmet is a work of art! In fact, it will be on display at R&J after this season, so you will be able to see it up close – hopefully next to some gold trophies!”
