The S & S Motorsports & Trailer Sales Team debuted new livery at the recent Top Fuel Championships meeting at Willowbank Raceway.
“With some coming changes in sponsorship arrangements the car needed a new image and it has given the team a whole new appearance,” driver Katherine Sichter said.
Still a relative rookie in the competitive world of ANDRA Pro Series Top Alcohol, Sichter and the team are still refining the car and looking at qualifying well, as being the big target. Already the numbers are starting to fall into place as the Spitzer-built dragster has run in the 5.70s.
“With no ANDRA Pro Series Top Alcohol bracket run at Willowbank Raceway until the Castrol Edge Winternationals, running the car in Competition gave us the valuable track time we needed. This has enabled us to improve the car’s 60 foot times to an area that we are happier with,” she said.
“We are in the stages of finalising some important sponsor arrangements that will bring the S & S Motorsports Team to new levels.”
