Scott Wilson went for a wild ride at Perth Motorplex on Saturday night when his turbocharged Competition Bike slipped up off the start line.
Wilson had the bike set for kill but a transmission plug came out when he launched, spraying the tyre with fluid and eventually spinning it out.
“We are okay if a little bruised,” Wilson said on Facebook. “(It topped) off a hectic day of dramas, spitting off chains, frying clutches.
“Monster dance ensued with me coming off, the bike sliding well past half track. Bike is a little worse for wear, the rider a little sore but okay.
“Big thanks to the ambos, sorry to the track staff for the clean up see you all soon in the lanes.”
