Sinister Saratoga debuts

Geoff Gradden’s new Saratoga Supercharged Outlaws car debuted at Sydney Dragway on the weekend at a private test session

Gradden previously ran a six second Viper in the class but the new car has raised some early challenges.

“We tested at Sydney on Sunday and had lots of unknowns to deal with, mostly unfamiliarity with the car, so we spent a lot of time in the pits going over tools and procedures,” said Gradden.

“We had 2 runs, first a launch and slow drive down the track to check clutch, brakes etc, and then 2 hours later a half track run.”

Gradden will not be competing at the Nationals.

“Unfortunately we aren’t ready for the Nationals next weekend, so have withdrawn. We need some more testing based on the data collected so far.” he said.

Sigra’s webpage will be updated in a few days with photos and maybe a couple of videos.
