Springmount Raceway has released a statement regrettable announcing the venue can not remain open for the rest of 2025. The owners will be looking to lease the venue out for operation in 2026.
Statement reads;
It is with regret that Springmount Raceway Pty Ltd announces the closure of the Springmount Raceway facility for the remainder of the 2025 season. We thank our 2025 Manager, Glen Hussey for his dedication and hard work during the season.
All events for the remainder of the 2025 calendar are now cancelled. Any nominations which have been paid will be refunded in full.
It is the intention of Springmount Raceway Pty Ltd to lease the facility to a locally based, not for profit organisation, consisting of racers and enthusiasts to manage the facility in 2026. We anticipate that the new management committee will prepare a calendar for the 2026 season and communicate their membership and their plans to you before the end of the year.
