Willowbank Raceway is excited to announce that it is now a stockist of Sunoco Racing Fuels, the official fuel of 400 Thunder.
“We are proud to be working with the team at Willowbank Raceway to bring our range of industry leading unleaded fuels to the racers & engine shops of South East Queensland,” Sunoco Racing Fuels national account manager Aaron Brookes said.
Initial stocks will arrive mid to late May and will primarily include unleaded fuels such as the newly released EVO10, 260 GT Plus and E85-R. This will enable competitors to purchase fuel on site in time for the 2019 Gulf Western Oils Winternationals and Warmups.
Winternationals competitors using Sunoco Racing Fuels products and displaying the contingency decals will be eligible for bonus payouts. Registration will be available at the credentials area.
While leaded racing fuels will be banned in Australia effective June 30 2019, there is still opportunity for racers to procure special orders of Sunoco leaded racing fuel products in time for these final events before the legislative changes. Anyone wanting to take advantage of this special order will need to contact the Willowbank Raceway office by Friday 17 May 2019.
Brookes will be on site throughout the Winternationals to talk to racers or engine shops about the change to unleaded fuels. Competitors who wish to speak to him can register with the Willowbank Raceway office and he will seek you out during the weekend.
