The Sunraysia Drag Racing Association (SDRA) is thrilled to announce that the 2025 Junior Nationals will proudly be presented as the 2025 Nitro Golf Centre Junior Nationals, thanks to a new partnership with Mildura’s own Nitro Golf Centre.
Taking place from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th September 2025, the event forms Round 3.5 of the ANDRA Championship – a truly unique honour, as it is the only time in history that a single bracket has been given its own championship round.
Nitro Golf Centre is a locally owned business operated by the Lamattina family, who are no strangers to drag racing. As some of the original members to race on the Sunset Strip when it was first commissioned, their passion for motorsport and the Mildura community runs deep.
Nitro Golf Centre has quickly become a hotspot in the region, featuring three state-of-the-art X-Golf simulators, long drive competitions, a wide range of new and used golf carts with servicing and repairs, plus a full kitchen and licensed bar, making it one of the must-visit venues in Sunraysia for great food, good times, and friendly competition.
The Junior Nationals were first established in 2018 by SDRA to promote and foster the next generation of racers. In 2024, the event expanded to include Junior Bike, and in 2025, for the first time, Junior Bike will compete as a full championship bracket, a milestone that reflects the rapid growth of the event and its status as the number one destination for Junior racers in Australia.
Conveniently, the 2025 Nitro Golf Centre Junior Nationals will take place the weekend after the Sunset Nationals (also an ANDRA points round), giving Junior competitors the perfect chance to double up on points—and potentially take home two ANDRA Christmas Trees in just two weeks.
The SDRA also acknowledges the continued support of the Mildura Rural City Council through its Events Funding and Support Grants Program, which helps make these events possible and further cements Mildura as a hub for major motorsport action.
The SDRA is over the moon to welcome Nitro Golf Centre on board for this prestigious event and looks forward to delivering another action-packed weekend celebrating the future stars of drag racing.
