The sound of blown engines will once again rattle Mildura this Easter as the pinnacle event on the Atlantic Oils Sunset Strip calendar, the Easter Supercharged Shootout presented by Atlantic Oils, roars into life once again.
Mildura bleeds horsepower every Easter when multiple motorsports take over the regional Victorian city for the Easter Powersports Festival and drag racing features with Atlantic Oils Sunset Strip hosting their premier event of the year.
On Good Friday a huge motorsport display envelopes the town centre where tens of thousands of people have the chance to get up close to all kinds of racing machines, plus a mega show and shine, and stunt displays. Drag racing takes centre stage mid-morning punctuating the atmosphere with a combined fire up from all drag cars on show that rocks Mildura’s foundations.
Easter Saturday and Atlantic Oils Sunset Strip fills to capacity to unleash on of the largest gatherings of Supercharged Outlaws seen in the country, with over 130 entrants in total ready to chase the illustrious event win. As a special treat this year, Lamattina Top Fuel Racing will be unleashing 11000hp on the Atlantic Oils Sunset Strip with a number of exhibition passes.
The Sunraysia Drag Racing Association continues to be thrilled on hosting this fantastic event that’s has been running since 2015.
“Easter weekend is more than just an event – it’s a tradition that brings a special energy to the club, an atmosphere that’s impossible to replicate,” said SDRA Vice President Kingsley Kuchel.
“For us, Easter Saturday is like our Winternationals – a must-attend event that draws in competitors from far and wide, along with their families, who come to show their support and add to the excitement.
“As always it is great to see good entry numbers. Since the inception of the Easter Supercharged Shootout in 2015 we have always had high numbers in this bracket, and an awesome mix of vehicles, with high quality appearances and horsepower thrown in for good measure.”
Not only throwing their support behind the venue and event off the track, Atlantic Oils will also have their own sponsored teams on track. Paul Stephen will be working hard to secure the win for Atlantic Oil Racing in Supercharged Outlaws with his ‘Double Trouble’ blown altered, and in their support for the up-and-coming younger generation of racer, Mason and Sophia Kuchel will be racing for Atlantic Oils in Junior Dragster.

The 2025 Atlantic Oils Easter Supercharged Shootout will be held on April 20th, 2025 at the Atlantic Oils Mildura Sunset Strip.
