Sydney Dragway in conjunction with ANDRA Championship Drag Racing is proud to bring you the East Coast Nationals – an event that will showcase some of the fastest and most explosive vehicles on the planet. Supporting the top echelon of the sport will be a large number of dedicated sportsman level race teams competing in the ANDRA Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series on the same weekend!
With over 300 race teams on the same weekend the excitement is guaranteed to be non-stop! As well as two action-packed days on track, your general admission pass, allows you to walk around in the paddock area to get in amongst the action behind the scenes for a close-up look at these amazing machines! Watch frenzied race teams work against the clock as they rebuild entire engines before they go out for the next round in an endeavour to go faster and become their category’s next champion!
Drag Racing’s friendly and approachable drivers are also on hand to answer your questions, take photos and, if the timing is right, allow you to have a seat in their race car for that ultimate selfie! Other activities throughout the venue will deliver an experience you’ll tell your friends about, while your entire family can also enjoy an exciting carnival atmosphere. Face painters and clowns as well as amusement rides, trade stalls, Shannons Show and Shine provide an abundance of points of interest to keep the entire family entertained!
The East Coast Nationals at Sydney Dragway, November 7 – 8, will feature Top Fuel, Top Fuel Motorcycle, Top Alcohol, Top Doorslammer, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. All this, with the added excitement of all your favourite national sportsman race teams, will provide the perfect ingredients for the most powerful motorsport experience on the planet!
