Any West Australian drag racing fan can immediately identify with the ‘Boston Strangler’ name, the iconic branding has been terrorising the West Coast drag strips for decades. Now, second-generation racer Madison Brown is continuing that legacy in National Drag Racing Championship (NDRC) sportsman competition.
The Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series’ most awarded competitor, Craig Geddes, is leading the way in the Competition ranks as the series heads to its final round of the season at the Perth Motorplex across March 4 and 5, but he is not without strong competition.
It is a West Australian drag racing icon, a ‘Boston Strangler’ branded funny car has been fixture of the West for decades. With next generation racer Madison Brown now behind the butterfly wheel, the name is heading east with the team making the long haul to Mildura’s Sunset Strip, chasing an Australian title.
