In sweltering conditions in front of a huge Sydney Dragway crowd, Hydraulink Jim Read Racing was second quickest in qualifying before going on to win the Nitro Nationals C-Final on Saturday evening (November 8), all while having to basically re-learn their Top Fuel dragster.

It was billed as a one-day NDRC spectacular full of nitro mayhem and the Nitro Nationals presented by PW Brakes and Racer Industries at Sydney Dragway well and truly delivered Saturday, November 8.

The NDRC’s Nitro Nationals, presented by PW Brakes and Racer Industries, will ensure this Saturday November 8 at Sydney Dragway is packed full of nitro mayhem with the finals of the Top Fuel and XPRO Nitro Funny Car Championships.

The 2024/25 PDRC Pro Stock Motorcycle season delivered some of the strongest fields and most competitive racing we’ve seen in recent years. With full fields at every round, the class showcased incredible depth and continued growth as teams across the board stepped up their game to close the performance gap. The result was a season filled with tight racing, quick ETs, and multiple riders vying for the top spot.

Hydraulink Jim Read Racing heads to this Saturday’s Nitro Nationals (November 8) at Sydney Dragway fresh from a complete rebuild following the prolonged fire at Dragway at The Bend’s Spring Nationals a month ago.

The 2025 Pro Mod Drag Racing Season was nothing short of spectacular. With 29 racers taking part across the country in the Championship, this year firmly established Pro Mod as one of the most exciting and fastest-growing classes in Australian drag racing. The field was stacked with incredible talent and an awe-inspiring mix of machinery — from thunderous supercharged beasts to precision-tuned turbocharged machines and hard-hitting nitrous-powered sedans. Every round delivered edge-of-your-seat racing and unforgettable performances.

2025 Winternationals Champion Rob Harrington is stepping up his program to hopefully include more competition in 2026.

Every so often, a racetrack comes along that resets the bar. Right now, that place is The Bend Dragway in South Australia. Still the newest facility in Australian drag racing, it’s fast earning a reputation as the country’s ultimate benchmark — smooth, quick, and record-breaking.

More than 20,000 fans packed into Dragway at The Bend across three massive days for the Spring Nationals, which hosted the Pro Drag Racing Championship (PDRC) Grand Final and decided the national titles for Pro Mod, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle.
