The ACDelco Top Doorslammer team is thrilled to announce the addition of Brodie Zappia as their new driver. Brodie, a 20-year-old racing prodigy from Perth, brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success to the team.

The 2025 Pro Stock Championship has been decided ahead of the season’s final race, with John Barbagallo confirming he will not compete at the Spring Nationals at The Bend. His withdrawal removes the last remaining mathematical challenge to Rob Dekert, who now secures his second consecutive championship, cementing his place among the greats of Australian Pro Stock.

Race fans can expect a Top Fuel show for the ages at Dragway at The Bend’s Spring Nationals across October 3-5, with Hydraulink Jim Read Racing ready to bring the goods while championing an important message and sporting a bold new look.

The National Drag Racing Championship (NDRC) has today released its 2026 Championship calendar, confirming a packed national program for both Professional and Aeroflow Sportsman categories and a shift to a calendar year format.

If there’s a drag strip in Australia that feels like it belongs in a Mad Max film, it’s Alice Springs Dragway. Set against the backdrop of the rugged MacDonnell Ranges and surrounded by open desert, it’s a quarter mile that gets the job done — built tough, prepped well, and right in the heart of the outback.

For decades, Australian drag racing has had a rhythm. You win your titles under cold skies at the Winternationals, and call it a season by June. But not this year.

Darwin turned on the heat off the track, Top Doorslammer and Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car turned up the heat on the track, combine this with the ANDRA Sportsman Series and a packed Hidden Valley Raceway, Nitro Up North once again delivered spectacularly. Across two huge days at the Hidden Valley Drag Strip, the NDRC Top Doorslammers provided an absolutely epic display of drag racing thrills for a packed crowd at LMCT+ Nitro Up North – the final event of their 2024/2025 championship season.

The opening round of the 2025/2026 ANDRA Sportsman Series lit up the night in Darwin on Friday, with qualifying unfolding across the evening to decide who would claim the first Top Qualifier Medallions presented by New Gen Business Park of the season. With ANDRA Christmas Trees and valuable early championship points also on the line this weekend, racers were pushing hard from the very first pass ahead of race day on Saturday.
