Sam Treasure has been one of WA’s toughest Modified competitors for some time but is set to give Competition a shake up with the Treasure family unveiling their new ‘Hemi Express’ ahead of the pre-season test and tune at Perth Motorplex this weekend.
The family purchased the ex-Chris Stipanovich Nitro Funny Car last year with the intention of developing a faster hot rod.
The name is an evolution of the ‘Cleveland Express’ Treasure ran in Modified and this team will be hoping to be well into the sixes soon enough.
