JFR driver Robert Hight has suffered a monumental engine explosion during qualifying of the U.S Nationals.
Hight said post run the funny car gave him no warning signs before the Chevy Camaro body was obliterated in the engine explosion.
The funny car was blown over into the other lane narrowly missing Dave Richards in the other lane, fortunately Hight climbed out unharmed, yet the team has a lot of work ahead of them.
