Following a difficult two seasons since the Global Financial Crisis began, The Top Fuel Promotions Team has reluctantly decided to sit out the Fuchs Australian Nationals, to be run at Sydney Dragway in September.
The Team has continued to support its long term sponsors through this difficult period, but can no longer continue to operate at a professional level without a sufficient budget.
The Team has been in negotiation with interested parties in regard to continuation and expansion of what is one of Australia’s most successful Motorsport Teams, but has not been able to finalise arrangements at this point.
“With the highly successful implementation of our ONE HD TV series, the ANDRA Pro Series has much to offer to companies wishing to raise brand awareness across a broad demographic of Australian homes,” commented Jay.
“Our Sport is changing and growing to a new level and we have to change and grow with it. I am confident that we can continue to be a worthwhile contributor to the ANDRA Pro Series going forward”.
The Team will return for round two of the 2010-2011 ANDRA Pro-Series.
