Long time NSW drag racer Colin Macdonald passed away unexpectedly last Saturday night, the suddenness of his passing has shocked many of the drag racing fraternity.
Colin has introduced and helped a great many racers over the years into the sport, he has been the president of the United Drag Racers Club, renown commentator from Oran Park to Canberra and not forgetting his on track career with his little Escort.
His passing leaves another hole in the heart of the drag racing community as we have lost another of the genuine good guys who have been the backbone of the sport for decades.
Colin Macdonald will be remembered and fare-welled on Tuesday 8th October at 12.30pm at Palmdale Ourimbah – The Hillside chapel and afterwards at the Ourimbah Bowling Club.
