Steve Bezzina in performing the unnatural by running 200mph in his XW Falcon on standard suspension and leaf spring rear end – all on a mere 275 radial tyre.
At the recent APSA Grand Finals, Bezzina hurtled his XW behemoth down the Sydney Dragway quarter in just 7.28 seconds at 203mph, the best pass ever by a car on leaf springs in Australia.
The muscle is a Dandy Engine’s 430ci Windsor Dart block, with CHI heads and twin snails, with the aim of sixes hopefully just around the corner.
