A rebuilt ‘GODRX2’ owned by Dom Perri rocked up to a Sydney Dragway private test day looking more like it should be running for Summernats Grand Champion, not the quarter mile.
‘GODRX2’ was a familiar sight on the dragstrip, but Perri took it off track and with Pac Performance the car went through a complete rebuild featuring an all new 20B combo returning it to full street car trim.
Now the car is back on track rolling with monster 20″ rims and 335/25R20 rubber, full street trim at a hefty 3395lbs. Questions on if car would even hook up with such shoes on were quickly answered with the RX2 running three straight eight second passes, with a best of 8.68 at 155mph.
The questions now is what will it do on serious 275 racing radials?
