Dandy Engines head honcho Frank Marchese is known for producing some of the biggest horsepower turbo motors out there, but he is no stranger to the strip himself – though a runway would have perhaps been more suited for his Ford XW Falcon on this wild wheelstand.
Marchese literally dragged the bumper (see the rubber on the chrome further down) of the radial tyred sedan, which produces 2200 horsepower and has gone perilously close to breaking the 200mph barrier. He is just one of the many tough cars at Sydney Dragway this week taking part in an impromptu five days of testing ahead of Grudge Kings on Sunday.
The wheelstand banged up the exhaust a little, but Marchese was confident of a return to testing.
