You know Jamboree is close when the import boys start banging out huge runs like Paul Testa’s 7.33 at 183MPH, from his mighty Galant in testing at Sydney Dragway.
Testa ran a 7.55 PB with Sigma big block four-cylinder power earlier in the night to set the scene for the record run. The MR 2600 team have been developing the 2.6L Astron 4G54 engine for many years, and were rewarded with the 7.33/183mph record run on a pass that carried the fronts out past the sixty-foot markers.
Subsequently MR 2600 is also the quickest and fastest Galant on the planet on 28x9s
