The NHRA Toyota Nationals at Las Vegas has certainly provided some funny car thrills and spills on the weekend – it’s almost like the old days.

Jon Capps road out a very scary accident when his funny car broke something in the front end following a power wheelstand – something that is becoming a common occourence now with these new laid back headers.
Alexis Dejoria decided to withdraw from the event following this unusual qualifying incident.
And then Cruz Pedregon performed the mother of all wheelstands as his funny car took flight across the finish line, in one of the most spectacular NHRA moments of all time.
