Zoran Gajic in the GAS Racing Mustang became Australia’s second turbo car into the fives with a 5.98 at 254MPH and back that up with another 5.98 at 252MPH
The car has been returned to its NHRA specification with a pair of 88mm turbos after originally swapping them out for a bigger set. The 5.98 being the cars first full pass it is still very soft in the boost and set up department recording only a 1.05 60 footer, a tenth down on previous passes.
Sean Mifsud banged out a 5.93 at 240MPH on their one and only pass today, Mike Janis and the team ecstatic with Australia’s quickest Roots blown sedan.
Paul Mouhayet driven Moits Mustang had a ignition issue today but still uncoiled a pair of 6.07 second passes, the first a 249MPH, just one MPH of the 10.5 World Record.
