It promises to be the most state of the art dragway in the world. The Bend Dragway located in Tailem Bend in South Australia is really starting to take shape.
Despite construction delays with weather and supply issues, The Bend Dragway pushes on towards an October Grand Opening, with plans of smaller scale events earlier in the year to bed in the new facility.
The facility will be releasing a series of video updates now that all the initial ground work has been completed and the infrastructure is now going in. The first episode highlights the pits construction, ample power provisions and glimpses of the control tower works.
