Electric cars and bikes are becoming more and more common – and they are no slouches over the quarter mile! Check out this one from the Mighty Car Mod Nationals at Sydney Dragway.
The ELMOFO SREV is more suited to circuit racing, but its light weight chassis (ignoring the heavier electric equipment) certainly makes it a quick accelerator too. Using a Radical SR8 chassis, ELMOFO takes on high performance, petrol powered V8s. You can find out more about the car here.
For the record the car ran 10.922 on its first quarter mile pass.
