Wayne Price Racing is set to make a serious impact at next weekend’s Nitro Champs at Sydney Dragway, riding high after a standout performance at the Riverbend Nationals for round two of the Pro Alcohol NDRC/PDRC Championship.

The team is coming off a runner-up finish at the previous round at Dragway At The Bend, setting a new personal best elapsed time of 5.45 seconds at 267 mph – a clear sign that momentum is on their side as they charge into the final stretch of the 2025 NDRC/PDRC Championship season.

Backing up a solid performance back at Sydney in round one, and with just two races remaining, Price is sitting poised just 13 points off the championship lead in the fiercely competitive Pro Alcohol standings, and is firmly in championship contention and ready to take the fight to the front in Sydney.

“We’re really hitting our stride at the right time,” said team driver Wayne Price. “The car is running strong, the crew is dialled in, and we’ve got our eyes on the top spot. We’re not just showing up – we’re coming to win.”

Adding to the excitement around the team is their highly modified Dodge Charger Funny Car. After extensive remodelling to transform the body into a one-of-a-kind Pro Alcohol set up, built for both performance and visual impact, the unique body style sets the car apart in the field and continues to turn heads at every event, and is helping produce the numbers.

Fans can catch Wayne Price Racing in action at Sydney Dragway on May 2-4, with qualifying kicking off Friday and eliminations firing up Sunday.
