Perth racer Al McClure tries to orbit his supercharged altered at the recent Goldenstate Championships in this spectacular video by Owen Ducker.
The re-entry looked a little rough.
In seriousness, the bottom wheelie-bar bracket failed sending McClure – who was unhurt – on his vertical launch. The chassis took a bit of a pounding with a damaged sump and engine plate, with the rest of the chassis needing a thorough inspecting.
